ED Team Saves Patient’s Life

Michael Cramer, a former commander in the United States Navy, went to the Mercy Hospital emergency department after experiencing chest pain. He was diagnosed with a heart attack and had 100% occlusion in his right coronary artery.

He was rushed to the hospital’s St. Francis Heart Center catheterization laboratory, where blood flow was restored. After a successful recovery, Michael visited the ED to thank the dedicated team who saved his life, grateful for the care he received.
