Catholic Health is pleased to offer you patient communications via phone call, email, and text messaging.

By providing your contact information to Catholic Health, you understand and agree that Catholic Health may reach out to you about your care by phone call (through the use of any dialing equipment such as artificial or prerecorded voice technology and/or automated telephone dialing systems), email, or text message. These messages may help you stay up-to-date on your care and improve your experience at Catholic Health’s locations and programs.

Messages will include the name of Catholic Health and may include:

  • Your name
  • Appointment reminders including the date, time, and location of an appointment or procedure
  • The name of your provider
  • Sensitive or identifiable information about your condition, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Information and services that may be helpful to you based on your care
  • Messages about Catholic Health bills and payments
  • A link to Catholic Health MyChart, where you can view test results and other medical information, including messages from your care team
  • Quality improvement communications and other similar types of messages related to your care

Email and text messaging should not be used to communicate with your provider. You understand that emails and text messages are not encrypted and are not secure forms of communication. This means there is a risk that the message could be read or accessed by a third party while it is being sent. Emails and text messages could also be seen by anyone who has access to your email account on a device such as your computer, or access to your mobile phone. There is also a risk if these devices are lost or stolen.

Catholic Health will always contact you through the contact information we have on file for you. You can update your contact information at any time through Catholic Health MyChart or by speaking with your physician’s office.

You can choose the types of messages you would like to receive and the way you would like to receive them at any time by updating your Communication Preferences in Catholic Health MyChart or by speaking with your provider’s office. You can also opt-out of emails by following the instructions provided in the email.
