Comfort, Dignity and Support
Good Shepherd Hospice focuses on easing the physical, emotional and spiritual suffering in the final stage of a terminal illness. Our interdisciplinary team provides expert, compassionate care to support patients and families through the final phase of life.
Hospice can benefit anyone who has a physician-certified terminal illness—defined as having a life expectancy of six months or less with no plan to receive further treatment. Our hospice specialists care for patients of all ages with all types of conditions and diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, cancer, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease and neuromuscular diseases. Our programs are tailored to meet your specific needs and medical condition.
At Good Shepherd Hospice, we aim to provide comfort, dignity and support during this difficult time. You can expect:
- To be given the support and information you need to live the rest of your days in a comfortable, meaningful way.
- To have your pain and symptoms managed in a way that honors your wishes.
- To receive our services while surrounded by those you love in the comfort of the place you call home.
- To be encouraged to participate in activities that are important to you.
