Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, affects an astounding one in four American adults. This condition usually has no symptoms, which is why it is often called the “silent killer.” Have your blood pressure checked by a clinical nurse, free of charge. Health care proxy information is also available. 

Please call the library to make sure the facility is open. Please also note that programs are subject to change or cancellation. Call site in advance to confirm the screening.
