Ways to Give to St. Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation

Family and friends of loved ones who pass away may contribute to St. Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation in their memory. An acknowledgment of your donation will be sent to the family.

An $100 donation will entitle you to a gold leaf engraved with your loved one’s name. It is placed outside the chapel on the wall of our gold leaf tree. Our volunteers typically play a significant role in helping us to deliver quality services. Their support allows our patients and residents to be active, independent and enjoy as high of quality of life as possible by complementing services provided by our employed staff.

Volunteer services may include:

  • Friendly visiting
  • Assisting with therapeutic recreation programs
  • Clerical support
  • Transporter for Mass
  • Rehabilitation transportation
  • Beauty parlor transportation

Our volunteers are provided with:

  • Orientation, training and staff support
  • Program choices
  • Flexibility in scheduling

Spiritual care companions are a group of volunteers who receive six weeks of training in pastoral care skills. They visit residents and patients to offer companionship and a sense of community with life outside of the nursing home.

We also welcome applications from teens who are 14 years of age and older. During the summer, we have a nursing volunteer program that provides an opportunity for young adults who are considering a career in nursing to support our staff.
