Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Information
All Catholic Health hospitals in Nassau and Suffolk counties have 24-hour staffed Intensive Care Units (ICU) to monitor and treat critically-ill patients who are admitted from a physician’s office, emergency room, post-operative recovery room or other hospital units.
We are leaders in critical care medicine. Our physicians and nurses offer life-saving care in multiple specialties, including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics and respiratory. Each hospital also has a team of hospitalists who manage all aspects of a patient's medical treatment from hospital admission to discharge.

American Medical Response's 24/7 Care in Motion Transfer Center is equipped with software to facilitate single-call communication with Catholic Health providers requesting medical transportation.
