St. Catherine of Siena Hospital Appoints New President

Declan Doyle, MBA, has been named President at Catholic Health’s St. Catherine of Siena Hospital (Smithtown, NY). In this role, Declan will oversee all of St. Catherine’s clinical areas and operations, with a particular focus on strengthening patient experience and growing Catholic Health’s commitment to High-Reliability Organization principles.

Prior to joining Catholic Health, Declan served in numerous, progressive roles over the course of 24 years at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he most recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations and Clinical Services. In this role, Declan provided executive oversight and leadership of various clinical service lines and hospital operations. He was responsible for the development, approval and management of annual operating and capital budgets and also worked as part of the executive team to create and implement the strategic plan for the Medical Center. Earlier in Declan’s career, he also served as Maimonides’ Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Clinical Services, as well as Director, Department of Radiology.
 
Declan earned his Master of Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management at St. Francis College. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Hospital of Radiology Administrators and is a New York State-licensed Radiologic Technologist.

Declan resides in Rockville Centre with his wife and two children.
