Catholic Health proudly announces that it is expanding St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center® advanced cardiovascular services into Suffolk County. Beginning this month, Dr. Thomas Pappas, Director, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, will see cardiac patients at 800 Old Country Road in Riverhead. Additionally, Dr. Allen Jeremias, Director of Interventional Cardiology Research and Associate Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center®, takes on the additional role of Co-Director of St. Catherine of Siena’s Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
Dr. Pappas brings more than 30 years’ experience in cardiology to Riverhead, serving as Director of Preventive Cardiology. Patients will have access to advanced screening technologies, including echocardiograms, ultrasounds and CT imaging.

At St. Catherine of Siena in Smithtown, Dr. Jeremias brings close to 30 years’ experience in interventional cardiology, specializing in patients with complex coronary disease. Here he will provide patients with minimally invasive cardiac care at the same high standards that have earned St. Francis its international reputation for excellence.
